My first time eating here and read reviews beforehand, thinking they were harsh to compare to Olive Garden...but a spade is a spade. Went on a Sat (end of Aug) at 700p and no wait for party of 5. Parking in their lot was fine but busy. Can imagine in high season or holidays it would be a nightmare. Ambiance nice. Waitress nice but messed up or mixed up orders frequently, often seemed confused. Table ordered calimari and she crab soup apps,and meals of Alfredo pasta, steak tips Alfredo, manicotti, chicken Florentine and kids fingers with fries. If you like Alfredo it's good, and steak cooked well. That should not be the best thing at a place that poses as an authentic Italian restaurant. Kids portion for chicken strips and fries was massive and well liked by the big and little kids. Manicotti was cold and filling was very tangy....not sure if too much cottage cheese to ricotta ratio but it was just off. Calamari and She crab were very very fishy. I get its seafood and love it cooked or as sushi, but again it was flavor wise off. Breadsticks were stale and obviously reheated, and salad was too close to Olive garden - matching bowl and all. Best part overall was the house cab wine -

The service from Russ was outstanding from start to finish. He was very attentive and was there at just the right times throughout the meal. They bring salad and some breadsticks to your table before your dinner is brought out. Both delicious. For dinner we had the Shrimp Scampiano with an addition of crab meat, Manicotti and a little side of Fettuccine Alfredo. We could not even attempt dessert as the portions were large and we filled our bellies with all the goodness it had to offer. It's a gem of a place to eat. If you're in Fairhope, make it a definite place to stop in! Anything, pick anything to eat, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service, atmosphere, piano bar and best of all the food was amazing. Special night for us and Gambino's made it perfect! Highly recommend

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time for our anniversary and not only was Rico (our server) absolutely phenomenal and made our experience so much better, but the food was some of the best Italian I’ve ever had. The bread sticks are exceptional and the starting salad has a really nice flavor in the dressing. I highly recommend the Chicken Parm. The only complain is the manicotti could’ve had a little more meat but the flavor was still wonderful! Definitely coming back!

Fantastic find. We loved this restaurant so much we dined there two days in a row. Monday - We had our usual cocktail at the bar prior to dinner. Our bartender Ashley was fun and engaging. She poured a great beer. After drinks we were seated in the dining room and were served by Mario, who was absolutely fantastic. His engaging personality took our dining experience up at least three notches. What would have been a great dining experience turned into a great, fun evening of friendly banter. We ordered a bottle of Caparzo Italian Sangiovese to enhance our dinner. It was very smooth and easy to drink. Deb went with the stuff cannelloni which was superb and I chose the lasagna. It’s been a long time since I’ve had lasagna made with beef and pork. It was absolutely fantastic. And then we returned on Tuesday. Our Tuesday bartender Jeno was also very engaging and fun so we opted to eat at the bar. We had a rather large lunch earlier so we decided to try a few of the appetizers for dinner. We shared the meatball plate and the artichoke plate. Once again both appetizers were fantastic. This restaurant has a huge menu and great wine selection. If we lived in this area it would be
